And their portal seemed to lead to nowhere, darkness abounded in all directions.
I bet no one checks these anymore. If I had the power I would change the “Play Status:” thing to “Abandoned”
No, I check this site occasionally. I’d like to pick this up this summer sometime, I’ve just been swamped with work.
I’m also incredibly, incredibly swamped. I’m working 40 hours from Thursday to Sunday, plus all the regular school stuff, like the research paper due Tuesday that I haven’t really started.
I might try and do something at the very beginning (for me anyways) of the summer. I’d like to gauge peoples interest/availability around may 17-june 8. I’d like to try and run a freeform campaign, set (for my convenience) in the world I made in high school. I’d like to try and do things frequently, whether or not everyone can show up, maybe twice a week for that period. I’m gonna be spending the summer in exotic delaware, so if it actually works out we could probably continue it a few weekends throughout the summer. If not, no biggie.
I want something to do during those three weeks when I am going to be home, sitting around staring at a wall for all but four days (if that, since theres only going to be 3 weekends, that would normally only correlate to 3 events) sounds really unappealing, especially since that’s all i did last summer.
I’m sure that I can do something during that time. I should be back around the 17th or so.
I was hoping for something a little more concrete than “something”, but whatever.
Also in case anyone cares
May 17 is really, really shitty for me, since that’s the start of my exam week. I’ll get home the 22nd, and I’m completely willing to play every day from the 22nd to the 6th, when I have to move back down here to start my research project. I’m definitely willing to play whenever people can, though; driving up isn’t that tough.
I’m now going to be back a little sooner, since they’re kicking us out of the dorms on the 13th. I think that I’ve got work on the 14th, but I’ll be around after that. I’m willing to have some real “hunker down and play” days when we get back, especially since we wont really have many chances to play for the rest of the summer.
I just looked at your campaign setting, Chris. Just for reference, I’ll probably play a rogue of whatever level we start at. I may just use the rogue that I had made up for this setting, if that’s OK by you. If someone else wants to play a rogue, I’ll probably default to Ranger or Fighter. : )
Eric wont be back til the 25th and Matt’s busy til the 22nd, so we might not start until then. But hey who knows, maybe if Alex is about we will get started just you, Sarah, Kenny, and Alex. Eh maybe even if Alex isn’t about, we will see.
Well who knows someone might check this. I think I might go home next weekend. If anyone reads this let me know if they want to do a dnd thing next saturday (june 20th).
